Het is al bijna 5 december en je weet misschien wel wat dat betekent, de verjaardag van Sinterklaas !
Sinterklaas woont in Spanje en elk jaar gaat hij in november naar Nederland. Met een oude stoomboot vaart hij een haven binnen. Wanneer hij aan land is gegaan, rijdt hij op zijn witte paard door de stad en langs de route staan duizenden zingende kinderen met hun ouders.
De Sint heeft een groot boek waarin staat of je lief of stout bent geweest dat jaar. Wanneer Sinterklaas in het land is, zetten kinderen hun schoen bij de open haard of de verwarming. Sinterklaas stopt dan af en toe een cadeautje in die schoenen. De Sint doet al het werk natuurlijk niet alleen en wordt geholpen door alle zwarte pieten. De Sint moet natuurlijk genoeg tijd over houden om alle kinderen te bezoeken in Nederland, maar ook in Belgie, Frankrijk en natuurlijk Spanje!
Daarom organiseren we een kleurwedstrijd speciaal voor Sinterklaas. Kleur de kleurplaat zoals jij wilt en zet je naam, leeftijd en telefoonnummer achterop de kleurplaat. Misschien win jij wel een van de mooie prijzen!
Wij gaan ook onze schoen zetten op 3 december en wij vinden het leuk als je ook je schoen komt zetten. Vergeet niet een briefje met jouw naam op de schoen te plakken.
Dus lever voor 1 december de kleurplaat en een schoen in en kom donderdag 4 december om 18.00 naar de prijsuitreiking van de kleurwedstrijd en natuurlijk om je schoen weer op te halen.
Alle kinderen tot 10 jaar mogen mee doen, dus geef ook een kleurplaat aan al je vriendjes en vriendinnetjes.
It is almost December 5th and perhaps you know what that means, the birthday of St. Nicolas!
St. Nicolas lives in Spain and every year he goes to the Netherlands in November. With an old steamer he sails into a harbour.After he comes ashore, he rides on his white horse across the city and along the route thousands of children are singing with their parents.
St. Nicolas has a big book that says if all children have been good or naughty during the past year. When St. Nicolas is in the Netherlands, all children place their shoes by the fireplace or heating. St. Nicolas sometimes leaves Gifts in the children´s shoes. St. Nicolas can´t do all the work alone and he comes with his helpers. St. Nicolas needs a lot of time to visit all children in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium, France and Spain of course!
That is why we are organizing a coloring competition especially for St. Nicolas. Finish the coloring the way you want to and put your name, age and phone number on the back of the coloring. You may win one of the great prizes!
We will also place our shoe on December 3rd and we would like to invite you to place your shoe as well. Do not forget to stick a note with your name on the shoe . December 1st is the last day to bring us the coloring and your shoe. And join us Thursday, December 4th at 6 PM to the award ceremony of the coloring competition and to pick up your shoe.
All children up to 10 years old can join the competition, and tell all your friends to compete as well!
Es casi el 5 de diciembre y tal vez sabes lo que eso significa, el cumpleaños de San Nicolás! San Nicolas vive en España y cada año va a los Países Bajos en noviembre. Con un viejo vapor llega a un puerto. Una vez en tierra, cabalga por la ciudad con un caballo blanco y a lo largo del camino hay cientos de niños con sus padres.
San Nicolás tiene un gran libro donde pone si los niños han sido buenos o malos este año. Cuando San Nicolás esta en Holanda, los niños colocan a sus zapatos junto a la chimenea o la calefacción. San Nicolas les deja de vez en cuando un regalito en el zapato. San Nicolás no puede hacer todo solo y va acompañado de sus ayudantes. San Nicolás necesita mucho tiempo para visitar todos los niños en los Países Bajos, sino también en Bélgica, Francia y España por supuesto!
Esa es la razón por la que estámos organizando un concurso especial para colorear para San Nicolás. Colorea a color de la forma que deseas y pon tu nombre, edad y número de teléfono detrás de la coloración. Puedes ganar uno de los grandes premios!
También vamos a colocar nuestro zapato el dia 3 de diciembre y te invitamos a colocar a tu zapato también. No olvides de poner tu nombre en tu zapato. El último dia para entregar tu coloración y tu zapato es el dia 1 de diciembre. El jueves 4 de diciembre a las 18.00H empieza la ceremonia de premios de la competición y puedes recoger a tu zapato. Todos los niños hasta 10 años pueden participar y no olvides de avisar a tus amigos!
